Mom it Forward
March 29, 2009 by Emily
All I can say is that I am quick!
Jyl contacted me late Friday night needing urgent help with her website. Some of her plans had changed and at the last minute, she needed an affordable web design and quick!! So, I helped her to transfer all of her content into this website that I set up, installed, built and designed - in two days!
This was a Professional Website Design, that has categorized live blog updates on her front page, along with a blog of her post content. We transferred in all of Jyl’s work from her Blogger address and set it up to have a professional look that would be able to meet her current business goals.
Jyl of Mom it Forward is the girl behind Twitter’s Girl’s Night Out (#GNO) each Tuesday night. Mom it Forward is also an organization of women and moms dedicated to strengthening families and communities by first strengthening moms. A pretty cool place to visit if I do say so myself.

Finally, I wanted to mention this cute image. It was created by Graphic Designer Rebecca Servoss of Persnickety Graphic Design. Isn’t her work fantastic? It ties in the colors and theme for Mom it Forward and was just the right touch for this site.
Being Frugal is Fabulous
March 26, 2009 by Emily
This new design was a cute change for Nicole’s blog “Being Frugal is Fabulous”! It was a Professional Blog Design. It also included a transfer from Blogger to a new Wordpress installation, which was highly successful! Each post and comment moved over quite easily (I love when it’s like this).
We were also able to maintain her Blogger permalinks – which will preserves this website’s page rank and traffic flow. This is a cute site about saving money, so if you’re looking for freebies or coupons, Nicole has a super list of resources available at her website.

Two Sheep Greetings
March 25, 2009 by Emily
Tara of Two Sheep Greetings makes and displays beautiful cards – as I looked through her portfolio, I became a fan of her card’s pretty details and bright colors. She is talented, that’s for sure!
This blogger design was sweet and simple. With lime green outlines, simple dots and a new menu bar, it creates just the right space for Tara’s work notes. This site also included a handwritten style font and Tara’s sheep logo (loving named after her two Clumber Spaniel Doggies).

Vintage Window

Kristi was the winner of a Simple Blog Design giveaway that I did for The Inspired Room. She wanted brown and blue colors with retro flowers, scallops and a semi-funky font. It turned out just how she wanted!
Her blog, Vintage Window, is full of cool vintage finds and antiques. (Definitely worth checking out!)

Utah’s Natural Kids and A Kick in the Buzz
March 24, 2009 by Emily
A cool Wordpress site dedicated to helping parents and children become green together. This is a Professional Blog Design that shows the latest posts in each category on the front page so that you can find the latest information all in one spot!
Create a Buzz for your company. This social networking site is a Professional Website design with a fading flash feature on the front page so that the focus is on the portfolio.
Mommy Works
March 14, 2009 by Emily
I recently completed Mommy Works, a cute mom blog dedicated to working moms. This site was a Simple Blog Design and it uses Blogger as the management system. It has 3 columns, a horizonal navigation menu and sidebar title images. It also included a custom logo with a mama and baby bird image in a nest (Can you tell that I love to create birds? I think they are so cute).
A few extras – we added a birdie favicon, a numbering system for her blogger comments and I created a matching blog button for her to display. All around, I’m really happy with this design.

Mom Fuse
March 13, 2009 by Emily

The Mom Fuse project was a lot of fun. Jessica wanted a redesign of her current Lifestyle Wordpress theme – so we set out with a Professional Blog Re-design for her site. The goals: funky tabs with a mix of blues, greens and browns.

I incorporated a mom image into her header/logo, added a funky font and created dashed lines throughout the blog. I also love the tabs! They turned out awesome and we think they’re pretty unique.

Busy Mom
March 2, 2009 by Emily
Busy Mom is a website that I’m really thrilled about! Emily (of Busy Mom) was fun to work with throughout this design. Her new blog displays a clean and bright look, while also maintaining a very professional feel. We thought the post-it note fit in perfectly with the “busy mom” theme and love how it fits in with this site.
Busy Mom is a Professional Blog design that uses Wordpress as the management system. It has a front page, wide right sidebar, navigation menu, header design, logo, image glider integration, favicon, contact form and front page post and image excerpts.
This blog also went through a transfer from Blogger to Wordpress. We were able to maintain the Blogger permalinks on the new site and we were able to easily import all of her posts and comments. It was also optimized for SEO.

Sevi Designs

I happened to meet Katherine on Twitter last week and discovered that she needed a new design for her blog. She knew exactly what she wanted and we fit the look of her site to her style. This site was a Professional Blog Design and uses Wordpress as the management system. It has 3 columns, a horizonal navigation bar and sidebar title images. It also included a custom logo bird image (that I created!! Isn’t it so cute?) with a matching Etsy banner and blog button.

Southern Handmade

The Southern Handmade blog design, was a Professional Blog Design that had a touch of southern country mixed into a cute and stylish design. I made the peach logo for this blog and was so excited about how it turned out!
